AJK Election Showdown: Bilawal Challenges PML-N's Claim to Form Government

The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has thrown down the gauntlet, challenging the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz's (PML-N) claims of forming the government in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). Addressing a public rally in Bagh district, Bilawal asserted that the PML-N's confidence in forming the government is misplaced and that their own government in Islamabad is under threat. The PPP leader claimed that the countdown for the PML-N government has begun, sparked by internal divisions within the party. Bilawal also alluded to the alleged rifts within the Sharif family, stating that the real battle is between Islamabad and Lahore. With the third phase of elections looming, the PPP leader vowed to form a government in AJK, saying that the system will only work when the people's sovereignty is recognized. The PML-N has currently secured 24 seats, while the PPP has 10, but Bilawal remains optimistic, citing the 11 remaining seats as an opportunity for the PPP to make a comeback.
