Fleet & Infrastructure Details
- Allocation: Gujrat has been allotted a dedicated fleet of 28 electric buses.
- Passenger Facilities: Over 100 passenger waiting areas and modern bus stops (featuring steel structures) are being developed across the district.
- Charging Network: Charging infrastructure is centralized at the main terminal along the Old GT Road.
Planned Routes
The transport network is designed to improve inter-city connectivity for commuters. The four primary approved routes are:
- Gujrat to Jalalpur Jattan
- Gujrat to Lalamusa
- Gujrat to Mungowal
- Gujrat to Daulat Nagar
Note: Additional routes to Dinga Town have also been proposed by the local administration.
Modern Amenities & Fares
- Bus Features: The buses are fully air-conditioned and designed with modern tech, including GPS tracking, Wi-Fi, USB charging ports, surveillance cameras, and wheelchair ramps.
- Fares: Following the model of other Green Bus services in Punjab, fares are expected to be highly subsidized (around Rs. 20) with free travel provided for senior citizens, students, and specially-abled individuals.
