Counter-Terrorism Operation in Swat: 4 Militants Killed, Elite Force Constable Martyred

A daring counter-terrorism operation was conducted in the Matta area of Swat, resulting in the elimination of four terrorists and the martyrdom of an Elite Force constable. The joint operation, carried out by the police and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), aimed to secure a strategic point in the Rashid Sar area. Unfortunately, the terrorists resorted to using a family as human shields, but the security forces successfully overpowered them. The operation is part of Pakistan's ongoing efforts to combat the surge in terror activities, particularly in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces, since the Taliban took power in Afghanistan in 2021. The funeral of the martyred constable, Gulfam Khan, was attended by high-ranking officials, including the Malakand commissioner and the Regional Police Officer (RPO), who praised the constable's bravery and sacrifice.
