Deadly Blast Rocks Swat Police Station: Terrorist Attack Claims Lives

A devastating explosion occurred near the Kabal Police Station in Swat on Sunday, leaving a trail of death and destruction in its wake. According to eyewitnesses and officials, the blast was caused by a suicide bomber who attempted to breach the station's security but was thwarted by vigilant officers. The bomber detonated his explosives near the entrance, resulting in the loss of five precious lives and injuring 15 others. The Assistant Commissioner of Kabal confirmed the casualties, while the Swat District Police Officer, Muhammad Omar, revealed that the explosion took place close to Kabal Chowk. A human head, believed to be that of the bomber, was recovered from the scene. Notably, a protest was underway in the area at the time of the blast, which added to the chaos and confusion. The Malakand DIG, Syed Fida Hussain, praised the bravery of the officers who prevented the bomber from entering the station, thereby minimizing the damage.
