Taking to Instagram on Monday, August 31, the 31-year-old pop star shared a new photo dump, featuring a behind-the-scenes look at her recent studio sessions.
She captioned the collection, “studio rat and other sightings [mouse and fluttering heart emoji].”
A selfie of the Grammy winner making a pout while wearing headphones in front of a standing microphone, with other equipment visible around led the series of photos.
She also shared a photo with Troye Sivan, more candid moments from the studio, and a group shot of herself relaxing with friends on a red couch surrounded by musical instruments.
As usual, the Levitating hitmaker also sprinkled in some more casual moments, including a bathroom mirror selfie, food and drink snapshots, and a photo with Mohammed (Mustafa the poet).
However, it was the studio-heavy nature of the update that immediately caught fans’ attention.
“DL4 vibes,” one fan commented, while another asked, “New album on the way? Lets go [fire emoji].”
Others were even more convinced, writing “DL4 in progress [three red heart emoji]” and “OMGGGG DL4.”
While the New Rules songstress has not confirmed that a fourth studio album is officially on the way, the steady stream of recording-studio photos was enough to send fans into speculation mode.
Lipa's last studio album, Radical Optimism, arrived in 2024, and fans have continued to wonder what direction she might take for her next musical era.
