Taylor, who shares fishing content on TikTok with the handle @Ctaylor.atx was recording his regular content when he heard someone talking about a cat who struck in the middle of the water on August 31.
Without a second thought, he paddles his boat out, leaving his gear on the riverbank, on a rescue mission to save a kitten's life.
As Taylor approached a tree standing in the water, he started hearing meows for help. After spotting the source, a tiny kitten, who had somehow ended up stranded.
The moment the kayak was within her reach, the kitten jumped onto the boat and instantly climbed onto her rescuer, a heart-melting moment captured by Taylor with his head cam sent the internet into a frenzy.
Once the kitten was rescued, Taylor felt relieved and started paddling back to the shore.
The video posted by Taylor features the kitten wasting no time snuggling up to her rescuer, claiming him as her person.
In the follow-up post, it highlights once they were out of the water, Taylor called her partner to come and grab the kitten, whom they later named Lucky.

Lucky was administered by a vet the next day with a complete checkup and antibiotics.
Now, the couple had adopted the kitten, who was also welcomed by another family member, Rigley.
