While it's unclear whether the Opalite hitmaker and The 1975 drummer are on friendly terms or civil acquaintances, their pictures together took social media by the storm. Swifties as well as Charli XCX's fandom both flocked to X, and reacted to the pictures, with one joking, "Alexa play Sympathy is a knife," referring to the Apples songstress' diss track. Another quoted Swift's diss track Actually Romantic's lyrics, "how many times has your boyfriend said, 'why are always talking bout her?'"
