Migrant Crisis Unfolds: Thousands Flood Spain's Ceuta Enclave from Morocco

The migrants, including men, women, and children, have been entering Ceuta by swimming around a border barrier with Morocco, with some discarding flotation rings and clothes used in the passage. At least 18 people have died attempting to reach the Spanish enclave. The crisis has also sparked a row with Italy, which has called for Spain to be suspended from the Schengen zone, and has been seized upon by US politicians to push their anti-immigration agenda.
