Teenage Assassins for Hire: Uncovering the Shadowy Foxtrot Network

A chilling phenomenon has emerged in Europe, where a shadowy organization known as the Foxtrot Network is recruiting teenagers to carry out murders for cash. The network, linked to the Iranian regime, has been responsible for at least 35 killings and numerous attacks on Israeli targets across the continent since 2022. The Foxtrot Network's modus operandi involves recruiting vulnerable teenagers through social media, often using online gaming terminology to communicate and instruct them on how to carry out the hits. The teenagers are then provided with weapons and cash, but rarely receive payment as they are often caught by law enforcement. One such case is that of Johannes Natland, a Norwegian teenager who was convicted of conspiracy to murder in the UK. Natland was recruited by a teenager known as Generalen, who had also hired other youngsters to carry out murders in Sweden. The Foxtrot Network's leader, Rawa Majid, has fled to Iran, where he is believed to be operating with impunity. Despite efforts by law enforcement to dismantle the network, the threat remains, with other organized crime groups adopting similar tactics.
