Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari Demands Transparency in AJK Elections, Alleges Rigging

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has expressed his concerns over the transparency of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) elections, alleging that the state is prioritizing the interests of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) over the national interest. Addressing a workers' convention in Muzaffarabad, Bilawal stated that the PPP had secured a majority in line with the public's votes and expectations, but the results were marred by attacks on polling stations and alleged rigging. He vowed to protect every vote and called for a transparent and free election process, emphasizing that the people of Kashmir would not allow their mandate to be stolen. Bilawal also criticized the authorities for not acting in the interest of Azad Kashmir and Pakistan, instead choosing to favor the PML-N's interests. He demanded the formation of an inquiry commission to investigate the situation and urged the people to vote for the sake of Kashmir, regardless of their political affiliations.
