Karachi Prepares for Chehlum Procession: Traffic Plan and Security Arrangements Unveiled

As the city of Karachi gears up to observe the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and the martyrs of Karbala, the traffic police have announced a comprehensive traffic management plan to ensure a smooth and safe passage for the central Chehlum procession. The procession, scheduled to take place on Tuesday, will commence from Nishtar Park at 9am and will be accompanied by heightened security arrangements. To avoid congestion, several roads will be closed, and traffic will be diverted through alternative routes. Motorists are advised to plan their routes in advance and avoid the affected areas. The traffic police have also announced that heavy vehicles will not be allowed to enter the city from 10am until the conclusion of the procession, and parking will be strictly prohibited along the procession route.
