Lahore Police Station Embroiled in Sexual Assault Scandal: A Shocking Betrayal of Trust

A disturbing incident has come to light in Lahore, where a police officer has been accused of sexually assaulting a young girl with intellectual disabilities within the premises of a police station. The alleged perpetrator, an assistant sub-inspector named Imran, reportedly brought the victim to the Ghaziabad police station under false pretenses, informing her family that she was required for questioning in connection with a case. Once inside, he allegedly took her to a secluded area where the assault occurred. This heinous act has sparked widespread outrage and led to swift action from the authorities. The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Operations, Faisal Kamran, has suspended the entire staff of the Ghaziabad police station, citing inadequate supervision and dereliction of administrative duties. A new Station House Officer (SHO), Ali Zaib Dastgir, has been appointed to oversee the station.
